Opened in April 2023, Resort Český les is a very first wellness retreat in the Upper Palatine Forest near the Czech-German border. Located in the heart of the region’s unspoilt nature and surrounded by woods and meadows, the resort offers countless hiking and cross-country skiing trails, 270 kilometres of bike paths and an ideal scenery for mindfulness and escapism. In addition, local culinary creations of forest-to-table restaurant Hvozd provide a great opportunity to relax and recharge. There, chef Šiling takes fresh produce from regional farmers to make extraordinary dishes using herbs, fish and venison, all sourced from the resort’s own garden, pond and game preserve.
